Statement regarding the situation in Japan

As you’ve heard in the news over the last few days, Japan was struck by an earthquake of magnitude 9 and a tsunami. The northeast was heavily affected by this. Because our trip will take us southwards, it will still be safe to travel to Japan.

However, we have to wait for news on the nuclear plant in Fukushima, located 250 km from Tokyo. There is a small chance that this could affect our trip, we will keep you up to date regarding this. We are confident however that the study trip will go forward as planned and we are still taking applications.

Although as far as we know all our friends in Japan are safe, we mourn for all the victims.
