I am currently studying business administration at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. I grew up in Germany and Switzerland but attended schools in France, Germany, Switzerland, and the USA. I have always had an interest for different cultures and a love for people that was fostered by my parents. I am highly interested in bringing different cultures closer together and gaining new insight. I am also co-organising a student initiated exchange to Japan in 2010 and I am very passionate about travelling and experiencing new cultures first hand. I am actively involved in charity work and I am really excited to go Cambodia this summer! I look forward to meeting you soon.

I am currently studying natural resource conservation at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. I am Canadian born and have been passionate about travel for my whole life. I love meeting people from other countries and I love learning about other cultures. For the past 4 years I have worked in the tourism and hospitality industry, starting out as a hiking guide for a wilderness resort near Vancouver. Currently, I am a tour guide for a local ecotourism attraction in Vancouver. I will graduate from university with a science degree and will move into an international conservation based career. After having traveled Southeast Asia for 4 months in 2006, I fell in love with its vibrant and beautiful culture. I am passionate about building bridges between cultures and I believe it’s always important to take into account both sides of an issue. One thing I love is seeing a country for the first time and getting a real impression from it, rather than from the news. Our trip to Cambodia this summer will be very exciting! I look forward to joining you this August!
