Visit from Venezuela 29.04.2007 - 05.05.2007

From Apri 29th to May 5th 2007, IFIL.ch organizes meetings between Venezuelan and Swiss decision makers and promotes an intercultural dialogue among the two countries.
The provisional program for the week is scheduled as follows:

●	29.04.2007	Reception of the guests, welcoming drink and transfer to St.Gallen General information and preview of the week
●	30.04.2007	Insight into the work of the Cantonal government of St. Gallen Visit of the Stiftsbibliothek Public debate at the University of St. Gallen: our guests will present the actual political and economic developments in Venezuela
●	01.05.2007	Breakfast on the Säntis Workshop in the Lassalle-Insitut in Zug: „consensus and trust in politics"
●	02.05.2007	Meeting with politicians in Bern and exchange of experience to deal with the subject: process of integration: EU – Switzerland / Pacto Andino Insight to the federal editorial department and focus on the “role of means of communication in a democracy"
●	03.05.2007	City tour of Bern Boat and train trip to Geneva
●	04.05.2007	Visit of the UN Human Rights Council Dialogue with a professor of political science about the “instruments of democracy”
●	05.05.2007	Final event and departure of the Venezuelan guests
