Japan 02.09.2010 - 15.09.2010

Andrea Willi

Currently doing a BA in Economics and the licentiate (MA) in Japanese Studies at the University of Zurich. One year exchange program at Waseda University in Tokyo where I was participating in an international research project interviewing Japanese companies.

Japan is a fascinating country in many respects; while maintaining old traditions and structures it is one of the most innovative country in the world. I have experienced so many new, cultural situations and challenges, I am very much looking forward to share them with other students.

Dominique Ursprung

MA in International Relations at the Graduate Institute, Geneva (IHEID) with mobility semester at Sophia University, Tokyo. Currently MSc International Management for Japan at SOAS (University of London). Working experience as intern in the Swiss Embassy in Seoul and in the National Parliament of Japan as a staff to a Member of the House of Representatives.

My motivation to organise this trip is to share the experiences, I made so far in East Asia and particularly in Japan, with other young and open-minded people. I am delighted to be part, for the second time, of this travel and very much looking forward to discovering together with you new aspects of Japan with all its fascinating challenges!
