Traveling in foreign countries is one of his passions and due to his activity in AIESEC, a global youth-driven student network, he discovered his interest for intercultural affairs.

Michael Borgensten

Although originally from Sweden, I grew up in Zug, Switzerland and I am currently doing a masters in International Affairs at the University of St. Gallen. Having spent several years of my youth in Asia, I have from an early age been fascinated by foreign countries and cultures. My experiences in recent years as an exchange student in Cananda, an intern at the Swiss Embassy in Bangkok and travels to Africa have highlighted the importance of intercultural learning which I wish to pass on to other young people. I have been involved in study trips with IFIL to Venezuela in 2006, to the United States in 2007 and to Uganda in 2008.
