Christina Affolter

Christina grew up in Bern before studying political sciene and history at the University of Zurich. Travelling around the globe has been a long-time passion of hers - In 2012 she visited Tanzania where she met Robert during volunteering for the orphanage Watoto Wetu Tanzania. Before she starts her Masters abroad, Christina wants to give students and young professionals an insight into the culture and scenery of Tanzania.

Robert Hörner

Robert Hörner grew up and lived in Nuremberg where he finished high school in 2011. A voluntary service at an orphanage in Dar es Salaam opened his eyes for the beautiful country Tanzania. All in all, he has lived in Tanzania for one and a half years and worked there with vulnerable children and youths as well as women's rights. Robert is fluent in Swahili and is very well acquainted with the multifaceted culture and Tanzania’s complex society. He now studies Cultural Science at the University of Koblenz and also organizes a scientific meeting on “tourism in Africa” for June 2014.
